Catch up!

Hi folks! So sorry it's been so long! Life has truly been an adventure since my last post! I have been highly involved in my church and been running around in many different jobs & freelance positions - it's been crazy beautiful! Here are 2 projects I will highlight from it all:

Project 1:
My church St Raphael's hired me to make 2 huge paintings for the annual EXTREME FAITH CAMP.

Here are the 2 paintings at Extreme Faith Camp.

Here is the first one - Peter & Jesus walking out on the Water. Matthew 14:22-33

And here is the second one - Jesus handing over Peter the Keys to the Kingdom. Matthew 16:19 Some close ups:

I was so worried painting Jesus' face!!! But it turned out alright!

Project 2: This fall in 2012 I had an opportunity to do some freelance work for Eaglebrook Church. The project was filmed for their Kid's program Kid-O-Deo - this month's theme was God Provides. I made line art in Photoshop, printed out the line art on watercolor paper and brought them in so I would be filmed water painting the pieces. (I used watercolor pencils - so easy, so fun!) The Filming and editing of the final films were by Marlys Livingston.

Student Loans - Scary as ...Hell....

Student Loans are coming out from the fiery chasm from whence it came. And it's scary as hell. My husband I have both received mail saying "HEY GUISE!!! You owe $$$$$$$$$$$$ PAY ME NOW OR YOU'RE IN BIG TROUBLE!!!" I don't like it one bit. SIGH*
